Chloe Jones featured in the Spitfire women's 2-1 victory against Geelong, while father, Tony, won gold with Hockey-Albury Wodonga's masters side holding out Central Victoria, 3-2.
"He enjoys the veterans down there and I think they always win, so he always likes to rub it in," laughed Chloe.
The Spitfires came from 1-0 down with less than 15 to play, recording a thrilling victory with two short corners converted - the second coming with 30 seconds on the clock.
Also in sport:
"We had a lot of young girls along with myself, Sam Daly and Sam Campbell from our usual side and four girls from Mornington Peninsula, which added a lot of strength," Chloe said.
The association also sent an open men's team and a second masters side.
