The day is a joint effort between the Pies and North Albury, who will clash for premiership points later that afternoon.
Member for Ovens Valley Tim McCurdy, North Albury president Tony Burns and Wangaratta president Tony Goodison are among the sliders hitting the Big Freeze from 1pm.
Other sports news:
"We don't have a cure for it at the moment and we need a lot of funds to help find one," Goodison said.
Live entertainment will be provided by Scott Solimo, Auskick will be played at half-time of the senior game, while a range of activities are on offer for the kids.
Those wishing to show their support can purchase MND beanies and socks or make a donation on the day.
