The Youth Council, announced on June 4, welcomed three new members with Ellen Lavis, Jacob Read and Maxim Blockley.
The join Dylan Forge, Noah Little, Tyler Martin, Molly Pearce, Olivia Hughes and Caitlin Moir who have opted for a second term.
Federation councillor Gayle Law congratulated the applicants on their civic appointments and said she was eagerly anticipating the initiatives and directions they take as youth leaders within the Council area over the next twelve months.

Maxim Blockley was named deputy youth mayor.
Youth mayor Dylan Forge said the council was hoping to deliver a number of exciting projects.
"We will strive to create better youth inclusion and provide everyone with more successful activities, events and workshops, like our Youth Week Colour Run," he said.
The next meeting of the youth council in July will see the group evaluate what is important to young people in the Federation Council area and from this define a program of delivery over the next twelve months.
