Glenbrook hand prints in cave revealed as fakes

A large rock identified above the rail corridor at Glenbrook is being removed for the safety of customers and staff. The fallen rock appears to have detached from a large overhanging section approximately 20-25m above track level and is estimated to be more than 15 tonne.

Handprints found near a Blue Mountains train station that an expert said were Indigenous and "culturally significant" have been exposed as fakes created by Riverina teenagers in the 1960s.
