The league received tenders from two clubs - Wangaratta and Albury.

"Both venues offer top-class playing surfaces and great facilities, however the commitment, professionalism and proven track record in delivering major events from the Wangaratta Magpies and the Rural City of Wangaratta made the final decision reasonably simple," league general manager Sean Barrett said.
The grand final will be played on Sunday, September 22.
