The Lauren Jackson Sports Centre will play host as the NBL's newest franchise the South East Melbourne Phoenix do battle with the Illawarra Hawks in a pre-season contest on Sunday, September 15.
In a full weekend of basketball action, both teams will hold open practices on the Saturday, followed by junior coaching clinics to be conducted by the players and coaches from both teams.
In keeping with the Battle of the Border theme, the South East Melbourne Phoenix will hold their open practice and junior coaching clinic at the Wodonga Sports and Leisure Centre, whilst the Illawarra Hawks will conduct similar events at Albury's Lauren Jackson Sports Centre.
A number of the biggest names in Australian basketball will also appear at a sportsman's night on the Saturday, giving fans the chance to hear from some of Australia's best players and coaches.

Albury-Wodonga Bandits president Steve Wright is excited to have NBL action back on the Border.
"We couldn't be more excited to have the South East Melbourne Phoenix and Illawarra Hawks coming to town," Wright said.
"Basketball in the Albury-Wodonga area is going from strength to strength and to have an NBL game taking place here is incredible.
"This will be an amazing opportunity for local basketball fans to see the best players in the country live and in person. We're looking forward to packing out the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre for what promises to be a fantastic event."
South East Melbourne Phoenix general manager Tommy Greer is rapt to be heading to the region.
"We are incredibly excited to be representing Victoria and South East Melbourne in the Battle of the Border," Greer said.
"We are incredibly honoured to be bringing NBL basketball back to Albury-Wodonga after a 12-year hiatus."
