POLICE are investigating the intimidation of a staff member that saw Service NSW's Albury office shut to clients on Thursday afternoon.
The Smollett Street site was closed for about an hour after a man verbally threatened a worker just before 2pm.
Motivated by a personal grievance the man threatened to produce a weapon but did not do so.
He had left by the time police arrived, but Inspector Scott Russell said the matter was being investigated.
The man was known to Service NSW staff.
