Border Relay For Life will set up a marquee during the Tallangatta versus Mitta United contests to sell merchandise, take any registrations or donations and generally tell people about the fundraiser.
Also for sale will be tickets for the 2019 relay major raffle, which has just been launched and offers prizes worth $37,469 in total.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Relay committee member Linda Butler said the stall could help people learn more about the Cancer Council and its work, how the money raised was used as well as the relay format itself.
For example, people might not realise they didn't have to organise a team but could take part as an individual and did not have to be there for the full 24 hours.
"They just think maybe it's too hard to get everything organised, but it's really, really quite easy," Mrs Butler said.
"It is a really good fun day, they have so many activities happening at relay."
The 2019 Border Relay For Life will be held on October 26-27 at Alexandra Park, East Albury.
