Wangaratta has further bolstered its chances of capturing the AWFA senior men's league title with the signing of former A-League striker Andrew Barisic.

Barisic managed 17 games for Gold Coast United between 2009 and 2011 and recently featured at NPL level for Melbourne Knights and Gold Coast Knights.
The 33-year-old central forward has also played in Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia and India.

Barisic will make his debut for the Red Devils at home against Twin City on July 7.
"Andy brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the group," Wangaratta coach Daniel Vasilevski said.
"Having someone like Andy at the club will benefit everyone from juniors right up to the first team, his professionalism and work ethic is one of the best I've seen.
"The club is delighted to have someone of his calibre wear the red and black and represent Wangaratta City."
Barisic is expected to play seven league games and be available for finals.
