HOUSE mates Alex Rowe and Andrew Mackinlay weren't planning on giving much away to each other ahead of Saturday's clash between Albury and Lavington at Albury Sportsground.

And the conversation completely dried up when the teams were selected on Thursday night.
"We had a bit of a laugh," Mackinlay said.
"'Alex was picked at half-back and I was at half-forward so we could line-up on each other.
"The last time we played Albury they mixed it up a bit and we rotate pretty heavily too but I guess we'll probably come across each other at some stage during the match."
Mackinlay has kicked 10 goals in nine senior matches since joining Lavington from Holbrook this season while Rowe was called up for his third game of the home and away series.
The loyal Tiger admitted football wasn't a big topic of discussion in the Thurgoona household.
"We're both pretty casual," Rowe said.
"We might talk about and ins and outs and a few things like that but we don't actually see each other too much with the different schedules we're on.
"He's very easy to live with.
"We'll see if that changes after Saturday."
While the pair will be fierce rivals on Saturday, it hasn't always been that way.
Rowe and Mackinlay were teammates for Albury Gold in their AWJFL under-16 grand final win over Albury Black in 2011.
Holbrook will be well represented on Saturday with Mackinlay, Brad Carman and James Grills playing.
