Tap-Ky Duong did not enter a plea on Monday to the four counts of aggravated assault where the victim was under his authority.
The charges follow his arrest on Thursday after he attended Albury police station in response to the latest allegations.
These allege that Duong indecently assaulted a seven-year-old girl at GT Aquatics on multiple occasions between April 2014 and April 2015.
"This is a matter that at this stage hasn't been directed to the (DPP) but I'm quite confident will be taken," prosecutor Sergeant Andrew Coombs told magistrate Rodney Brender.
A hearing into two previous sets of matters has been vacated as a result of the latest charges.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Magistrate Rodney Brender was told on Monday that the Director of Public Prosecutions would withdraw from these charges, which would travel with the new allegations. But the DPP would eventually take carriage again of all matters.
Duong, 41, was charged last November over allegations he touched a girl's buttocks while she was under his authority in August.
He came before court again in late May on two further counts of aggravated indecent assault against an eight-year-old girl.
Police alleged he touched the girl's vagina while he was her swimming instructor on two separate occasions in 2015.
All charges were adjourned to August 13.
Apprehended violence orders are in place to prevent Duong from making contact with three protected persons.
