New figures from the Independent Parliamentary Expenses Authority detailing federal politicians' spending showed Farrer MP Ms Ley spent 29 nights away from her Albury home base between September 26 and December 11, including time in Melbourne, Sydney and Norfolk Island.
Her airfares cost a total of $7624 and other travel $10,901, plus she spent $50,144 on travel for her staff.

Ms McGowan, when she was still Indi's MP, spent 29 night away from her Indigo Valley base between August 30 and December 16.
She flew to locations including Sydney, Townsville and Cairns at a cost of $6513 and spent $8856 on other travel costs, plus $20,963 on the travel costs of her staff.
There was also a total of $469.16 on taxi fares for Ms McGowan's "unscheduled transport" between August 2 and October 5.
