Adelaide United and Socceroo export Craig Goodwin has been training with the Border NPL 2 outfit this week and impressed the playing group.
"It was really good. You can tell why he plays at the top level," Murray captain Ashley Dunn said.
"It was good for the young lads to see and train with him.
OTHER SPORTS NEWS:
"He doesn't complicate the game, he's very intelligent and makes the right decisions."
Goodwin is friends with Zac Walker and David Afonso and used the opportunity to train with the club to keep fit during his off-season.
"He was really good with the young lads, giving hints and tips and always encouraging," Dunn added.
"He may move back later on in his career, but I think he has a good few years ahead of him."
