Firefighters have been working hard to extinguish a blaze that enveloped a Urana home on Wednesday morning.
Lockhart Fire and Rescue NSW and the Rural Fire Service responded to the emergency call in Urana at 7.15am.
NSW Fire and Rescue zone commander Stewart Alexander said the house has been extensively damaged.

"We are still on scene and trying to get rid of the little hot spots," he said.
"No reported injuries but it is a dreadful situation for the homeowner.
"This has a major impact on small communities."
