Homegrown country singer Lee Kernaghan performs in Albury as part of Backroad Nation. It's his biggest tour yet with 41 shows announced around the states this year and more to come in 2020. With 37 Golden Guitars, four ARIAs and 38 number one chart hits, Kernaghan has achieved a great deal since his boyhood in Albury. Joining Kernaghan on his tour will be Golden Guitar winners The Wolfe Brothers and up and coming star Christie Lamb.
ON SONG
Internationally-renowned mezzo-soprano Sally-Anne Russell will perform in Albury as part of the 2019 Albury Chamber Music Festival Concert Series. Russell will be supported by associate artist Helena Kernaghan and the Lux Alba Chamber Choir at St Matthew's Church. Russell will perform a program of arias from operas by Rossini, Bizet and others, along with sacred music and some lieder song.
DANCING QUEEN
BABBA in Concert, Yackandandah Public Hall, Saturday, June 22, 8pm to 10.30pm
With glitz and glamour served up with Swedish accents and enough musical memories to fill you to overflowing, BABBA will take you on a journey through time to when satin was king and Dancing Queens ruled. Benny, Bjorn, Agnetha and Frida can be yours once again and all you have to do is turn up. Doors open at 8pm, showtime is 8.30pm. Theatre-style seating with two, 50-minute sets. Dancing is encouraged!
PUBLIC ART
Retrospect: Community Installation Project, Arts Space Wodonga
This exhibition will evolve as the community helps create it. There will be installations and activities by Border artists, which will allow everyone to leave their mark on the gallery. Vicki Luke will lead The Memory Imaginarium with a projection of artwork and memory veils.
LEADING LADIES
Vocal Consort, Murray Gardens Retirement Village, East Albury, Sunday, June 23, 2.30pm, free entry
Murray Conservatorium presents Vocal Consort - Vocal Works of Women Composers. Pippa Andrew is the conductor for a cappella and solo pieces by Schumann, Hensel, Casulana, De La Cruz, Leonarda, Beach, Glanville-Hicks and Simpson.

Jindera versus Murray Magpies, Jindera Football Club, Saturday, June 22, fourths from 11am
Why not come out and support bush footy? Jindera takes on the Murray Magpies at home. With the fourths from 11am, seconds at 12.15pm and seniors at 2pm. The thirds play under lights from 4.50pm. Bar and canteen available.
