Hurst has been on the sidelines since injuring her calf during the second half of the round nine clash against Nunawading at the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre.

The WNBL player has so far missed two games for the home outfit.

Newest addition to the team Hanna Zavecz has also been out of the side with concussion concerns.

"Nat will hopefully be back, she's training a little bit," Bandits coach Lauren Jackson said.

"With Hanna, it will depend on whether the doctor clears her to play or not."

The Bandits will have Ballarat in their sights this weekend, with the side hoping to bounce back after a 57-76 point loss at home to Bendigo last weekend.

With six wins and seven losses under their belt, Jackson said her side is hoping to rack up a few more wins in the coming weeks if they want to keep their NBL1 finals dream alive.

"Hopefully we can get a few more wins on the board," Jackson said.

"If we do, we're still very much in the hunt for playoffs, which is exciting.

"We had a good start to the season, which has put us in the position where we can still make that run for the playoffs."

The first year of the NBL1 competition has provided plenty of competitive games so far for the Bandits.

Jackson said she's proud of her girls' efforts out on the court each week.

"I'm really proud of the girls, the team has been playing really well this season.

"Considering the amount of stars that are coming out of Melbourne and all of the WNBL stacked teams, I think our girls have competed really well."

The Bandits women are currently hanging onto ninth position on the competition ladder.

With just five rounds to be played before finals, wins in the coming weeks will certainly give the side a helping hand in boosting their prospects this season.

The Ballarat Minors are currently sitting 13^th on the competition ladder and are coming off the back of a loss to leaders Geelong, who have managed to only drop one of their games so far this season.

The Albury-Wodonga Bandits have just four home games left to be played at the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre this season, while they are ready to hit the road again this weekend.
