Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander elders living in Victoria will meet with consultants for the Victorian Treaty Advancement Commission to discuss their views and aspirations.
It's one of 23 elders conversations being held around the state as the commission continues to set up the First Peoples' Assembly of Victoria, which will establish ground rules for treaty.

An Elders' Voice model, developed out of the workshops, will advise and support the assembly.
Telephone consultations and/or written submissions are available for elders who cannot attend a workshop.
Candidate nominations for the assembly, originally due to close last Monday, will remain open until August 16.
