Think again.
Patties have picked up 13 of a possible 15 points from the last five fixtures and are now considered a big threat to league leaders Albury United.
The biggest hurdle is making up the 10-point deficit.
"At the start of the season, our goal was to be top-four and we're holding that place," St Pats goalkeeper Natasha Anderson said.
"The goal is to now beat United.
"With the fall from Wangaratta (last week), it's going to make it a bit harder for us, but we're trying to get there with the 10-point difference."

Anderson added there's plenty of excitement around the club as a result.
"As our ladies are getting more successful, we're slowly getting more attention," she said.
"It's keeping the morale up in the team and the ressie ladies are all supporting the senior ladies.
"It's creating a good feel around the club because we're all banding together and having a good time."
They'll look to continue their strong form against Albury City at Alexandra Park on Sunday.
City goalkeeper Brogan Broadway believes it's the most consistent St Pats side she's seen in recent years.
"This year they've got someone (Isabella Barbaro) that can work with Claire (Mahoney) in the midfield and finish their goals," Broadway said.
"The last few years they've had that stronger midfield and always been relatively solid in defence, but they haven't had anyone to consistently finish.
"Having Issy to help Claire out has been instrumental in the change throughout the season for them."
In the weekend's other game, Boomers take on Wangaratta at Glen Park.
Melrose and Albury United have the bye.
