Midfielders Tom O'Brien and Dylan McDonald were surprise inclusions in the reserves against Wangaratta Rovers on Saturday and are set to play out the season.
O'Brien has relocated back to Albury from Melbourne due to a change of university courses while McDonald is returning following a stint in the US.
"They are both really talented young players and we're happy to have them back at the club," McGrath said.
"They played in the reserves against Rovers and will no doubt be pressing for senior football."
IN OTHER NEWS:
O'Brien played 14 senior matches for Albury last season before being edged out of a spot during the finals series.
He had been playing for Essendon District Football League club Aberfeldie this year.
McDonald moved overseas to pursue a gridiron career in 2017 after showing promise in 10 senior matches for the Tigers that season.
McGrath and Daly took over from Peter German in late April in a surprise move after the former AFL player spent only four matches at the helm.
They have lost only one match since with the Tigers well placed to challenge for another premiership.
"Luke's been great to work with and we're glad the club has shown faith in us to continue next season," McGrath said.
"We think we complement each other pretty well as playing and non-playing coaches."
Meanwhile, Lavington's Aidan Johnson and North Albury's Josh Lloyd have been charged from the weekend's matches.
Johnson has been offered a two-week suspension for engaging in rough conduct towards Wodonga's Marshal Macauley.
Lloyd was booked for striking Daniel Roche.
