While McGrath was thrilled with the reigning premier's barnstorming finish at W.J. Findlay Oval on Saturday, he doesn't want it to become a habit in the second-half of the season.
"We probably should have won last week (against Lavington) and didn't and this week we probably shouldn't have won and we did," McGrath said.
"It's a fine line.
"It was pretty emotional in the rooms after the game.
"The boys sung the song with a fair bit of feeling.
"I think they were very happy to get over the line but at the same time we spoke about not being able to do that every week.
"You can't just turn it on for a quarter.
"Wang Rovers played very well."
Albury's come-from-behind victory was even more meritorious considering it went into the clash without Dean Polo, Dean Heta, Jim Grills and Jake Gaynor and lost key defender Keiran Ellis in the opening 15 minutes of the match with a strained hamstring.
