Rodney Joseph Minogue made a brief appearance in Albury Local Court via a video link to Bathurst jail.
Wearing prison greens, the 52-year-old younger brother of Russell Street bomber Craig Minogue made no comment over the charge aside from confirming who he was to magistrate Rodney Brender.

The plea was entered by his lawyer, Sascha McCorriston.
"I'd be asking for brief service orders," Ms McCorriston told Mr Brender.
Minogue, who himself was acquitted on appeal for being an accessory to the 1986 bombing of the then Victoria Police headquarters in Melbourne that killed Constable Angela Taylor and left 21 other people injured, did not apply for bail.
Mr Brender set a date of July 22 for the service of the brief of evidence with reply by August 5, which is when Minogue's matter has been set down for mention.
