The weekly story time in the library at St John's Lutheran Primary School, aimed at the under-5s, has lost a few participants who have gone on to preschool and school, with numbers falling from about 25 youngsters to 12.
Library assistant Jodi Takle said the free sessions included book readings and a craft activity based on a theme and then morning tea.
"It's open to anyone in the community, we've got ladies that come from Albury out to Jindera," she said.

The children can also obtain a library card and borrow books.
Previous themes have related to coming events like Christmas or Mother's Day or interests such as dogs or fire brigades. Sometimes special guests attend to read aloud to the children or add to the occasion, for example French bulldogs Teddy and Bear proved popular early last year.
Story time is held on Thursdays from 9.30am.
