And a photography event on Sunday is aiming to raise money for homeless people living with pets.
The second annual Pet Photography for a Cause event at the Townsend Veterinary Clinic hopes to smash the $1600 they raised last year for Pets in the Park charity.
Townsend Veterinary Clinic director Kim Hawley said they were "overwhelmed" with last year's response.
"We had over 40 pets photographed last year and we are hoping to get well over that this year," she said.
"We have a mini market out in the car park with stalls for both animals and humans."
