Pendergast suffered a broken leg against North Albury in May, 2018, forcing the match to be abandoned during the first quarter.
Saturday's home clash against Wangaratta Rovers will be the 36-year-old's 298th match.
All going well, the popular Panther would therefore play his milestone match at home against Wangaratta on July 27.
Pendergast, who's played two reserves games, is one of three changes as the ladder leaders look to retain their one-game break on Albury and Myrtleford.
