With 22 years as a television stylist and working in high-end salons in Auckland, London and Sydney, Ms Mead moved to the Border five years ago.
Mum to Bronson, 6, and Jude, 4, Ms Mead said there were no secrets to juggling family and business.
She said it was simply a case of multi-tasking.
"Keeping your finger on the pulse of your industry after having children is definitely key," she said.
Having worked for both Nine Network and Network Ten for a decade, Ms Mead founded Olie Pure Skincare, a natural, eco luxe skincare line two years ago.
"It started as a side-hustle," Ms Mead said.
"Working in TV we were consistently being given products; the amount of plastic and packaging was an issue for me. I looked into putting my products in glass."
