The results of the survey commissioned by Federation Council will be debated on Tuesday after first appearing on the meeting agenda on Friday.

This represented 70 per cent of the returned surveys in favour of the green route, but representatives from Transport NSW have informed council in recent times they still prefer the grey route along the present alignment due to the impact on local roads should the alternative be built.
Regional Roads Victoria, the lead agency in the project, is also supportive of the grey route, but a plebiscite carried out in Yarrawonga by Moira Shire also returned strong support for the green route.
On Tuesday, Federation councillors will vote for the first time on its preferred route based on the survey results.
The former Corowa Shire previously resolved support for the grey route.
Federation councillors Paul Miegel, Fred Longmire, Gail Law and Norm Wales were previously on Corowa Shire when the bridge vote was taken in 2013.
