Tattooed intruder arrested for alleged false imprisonment
Police have arrested a man they say allegedly broke into the home of a Wangaratta man and refused to let him leave or call for help.

When the victim offered to call police to help, the man punched him in the face, causing an injury.
He was arrested in Benalla on Wednesday and charged with false imprisonment, theft of a motor vehicle, stating a false name and resisting arrest.
He has been bailed to appear in court in August.
