The Albury-Wodonga Spitfires men suffered their first loss against a side below them when they fell 2-0 to United at Albury Hockey Centre on Saturday.

Despite dominating possession throughout the contest, the Border side failed to make the most of their opportunities and were punished by United when they had the chance.
Co-coach Tony Donnolley couldn't hide his disappointment.
"We wasted way too many opportunities," he said.
"They didn't have many, but they had good results out of theirs.
"Probably 90 per cent of the game we were in their half, but we were pretty much banging our head against the wall.
"It looked pretty disjointed, there was a lot of basic skill errors and a lot of bad passes.
"We had most the play and did nothing with it, it's so frustrating."

It was a successful day for the Spitfires women, beating Goulburn 3-2 at home.
Summer Sutherland and Hayley Hutchinson gave the hosts a 2-0 half-time lead.
The Spitfires went ahead 3-0 thanks to another from Sutherland, but two late goals from Goulburn made it a little close for comfort.
