A Wodonga man has been given a jail term for stalking his ex-girlfriend and rubbing his penis on her car window.

But Tyson John Crichton-Crawford will get to serve the sentence in the community.
That comes after Albury Local Court magistrate Imad Abdul-Karim placed Crichton-Crawford on an eight-month intensive corrections order.
He had previously pleaded guilty to two charges of stalking or intimidation and one of offensive behaviour over the incident, which took place back on February 22, 2018.
But sentencing had been delayed since May after Crichton-Crawford, 29, entered residential rehabilitation at Odyssey House for addiction issues.

Mr Abdul-Karim has told Crighton-Crawford that there was no doubt the victim was scared by his actions.
That, he said, was demonstrated by her then suffering a panic attack.
This was one of three charge sequences that were finalised.
Crichton-Crawford was convicted and fined $510 on each charge of possess a prohibited drug and fail to appear on bail.
He was also put on an 18-month community corrections order.
That was for charges of drive while disqualified, resist police and intimidate police.
Crichton-Crawford had failed to front court over the stalking charges back in August of 2018, leading to a warrant being issued for his arrest.

He had also failed to turn up in court on April 30 last year.
The victims, two women aged 25 with one his ex-partner, were in a car at the intersection of David and Guinea streets waiting for the traffic lights to turn green.
Crichton-Crawford pulled up beside them in his car, got out and attempted to open a locked door.
"You're a copper rat," he yelled out. "You're a copper informant. Dogs get what they deserve."
Soon after, he rubbed his penis and then his exposed buttons on the passenger side window.
The possess prohibited drug charge related to an incident on June 11, 2018.
Albury police saw a parked car, with Crichton-Crawford standing beside it, in Tulla Street, North Albury.
A search uncovered a bag with 7.5 grams of cannabis.
