Some sharp shooting from Dandenong at the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre on Saturday night all but stole the Bandits' slim chance of making finals, as they went down 83-104 to the visitors.
"It was just one of those things, we weren't able to come out and continue the path we created for ourselves on Friday," Bandits' coach Brad Chalmers said.
"It's been the tale of our year to be inconsistent with our energy."

With one round left in the NBL1 competition the men's side sits 11th, but Chalmers said they'll still be looking to give their all in their last game next weekend.
"You want to show up to every game, whether it's game one or 20, with the same amount of importance," Chalmers said.
"There's never a game that doesn't matter and this one will be no different."
