A depleted Norths, without Jeremy Payne, Oscar Smart, Josh Verity and Jordan Thorneycroft, had a 1-1 draw with Wodonga at Albury Hockey Centre.
Ian Beath was on target for Norths, while Tyson Phonethipsvand hit the back of the net for Wodonga.

Branden Lowe netted a double for Wombats, while Falcons' Charley Wallace and Jason Russell also got on the scoresheet.
In division one women, goals from Norths' Brooke Purtell and Wodonga's Kyrie Hardwick saw their sides finish locked at 1-1.
Magpies edged out United 2-1, while Falcons recorded a 3-0 triumph against Wombats-Beechworth.
