KIEWA Sandy Creek announced its team of the past 50 years (1969-2019) at a club function celebrating the merger of Kiewa and Sandy Creek on Saturday night.
Kiewa and Sandy Creek merged in 1969 in a move which met with instant success.
The Hawks won a flag in their inaugural season as a merged identity and quickly established themselves as a league powerhouse.
They made it back-to-back flags the following season and had the ultimate success again in 1972 to claim three premierships in four years.
The 1970s proved to be the most dominant decade of the past five for the Hawks, winning flags in 1970, 1972, 1976 and 1977.

KIewa Sandy Creek is the second most successful club in the Tallangatta league over the past 50 years.
The Hawks have claimed 13 flags during that time to narrowly trail Mitta United with 14.
Selectors named their team, with five interchange players plus five emergencies.
The team is brimming with talent with Des Richardson named as coach as well as being selected at centre half-forward.
Richardson crossed to the Hawks in 1980 and took over as playing coach in 1981 after a glittering Ovens and Murray career with Wodonga.
He coached the Hawks initially for six years, winning a flag in his first season as well as back-to-back triumphs in 1983-84.
Richardson also coached the Hawks in 1988 and was president for one season in the early 1990s.
"It was a huge honour to be named coach and it could have gone to at least four different blokes," Richardson said.
"The secret to their success is they are such a well run club off the ground.
"When you go out there to coach, all you have to do is coach and not worry about anything else."
Richardson's son, Ryan, is also a dual premiership coach with the Hawks in 2011 and 2014 and was named as assistant coach alongside Alan Rogers.
Rogers is a triple premiership coach and was at the helm from 1969-73.
Ashley and David Sutherland alongside Ray and Leigh Cameron were the other father and sons named in the side.
Ray Smedley is captain of the star-studded line-up and coached the Hawks from 1974-78 and is a dual premiership coach.
Ray was a former Wodonga teammate of Des and instrumental in luring Richardson to the club as coach in the early 1980s.
Jason Bartel, Guy Telford and Ryan Wallace were the only players named that are regular senior players this season.
Leigh Cameron still plays in the reserves.
Telford was picked at full-forward and has booted more than kicked 600 goals in seven seasons with the Hawks.
He booted 147 goals in 2015.
