The Blues and Bullioh battled through the icy snap for the coldest day of netball they've experienced this season in the Tallangatta Valley, with a handful of new faces stepping into Cudgewa's A-grade side.
Cudgewa coach Julianne Reiners was one of the fill in players to take to the court and said she was thrilled with her side's ability to adapt quickly to their irregular line-up.
"Adjusting to those changes was certainly challenging to start with, but once we got going it started to work," Reiners said.

Since taking over the club's A and B grade side's this season after being involved with clubs in Northern Queensland and Gippsland, Reiners said she's been working on building up new combinations for the side.
"We want to employ those different strategies down the court to help us and I think it's showing on court." Reiners said.
Cudgewa will now come up against third placed Tumbarumba this weekend.
"Tumbarumba always give us a really good game," Reiners said.
"The girls will put the things we've been working on into practice to make sure we're ready for them."
