Traffic and highway patrol officers called off the pursuit for safety reasons after a white Toyota Corolla sedan was detected travelling south about 7.45am Monday.

NSW police said a white Toyota Corolla sedan had been stolen from a Young home between midnight and 3am and the Holbrook drive-off, also involving a white Toyota Corolla sedan, was reported about 7.20am.
Police inquiries identified a 17-year-old male who was allegedly driving the car at Holbrook.
Police said he was wanted because of an outstanding warrant for an offence committed in the Young area before the vehicle was stolen as well as the present alleged offences. Investigations are continuing.
