The 2019 Border Relay For Life will be launched at Albury's QEII Square, Wodonga Plaza, Lavington Square and Optus stores between 9am and 1pm.
More than 50 teams and 200 participants have already registered for the Cancer Council relay on October 26 and 27 and organisers hope many others will join them.
Saturday's launch will include barbecues, balloons, smoothie bikes at the Optus stores, ticket sales for the major raffle and the chance to get an early bird discount when registering.

Relay committee member Rhiannon Grazules is part of her workplace team.
"I love it, just the community spirit and being part of a team that can help hopefully raise the funds to cure cancer," she said.
Mrs Grazules said although Border Relay For Life was well-known, the launch served as a reminder and invitation to get involved.
"Paint the town purple, get the word out there that relay's coming around again," she said.
"October will be here before we know it."
