St Pats have won their past seven matches, with United dropping two of its past three to see its 10-point buffer whittle away.
Injured midfielder Brea Quinlivan said the side still has plenty of belief to take out the league title.
"I think maybe being 10 points ahead might have got to us a bit, but credit to all the other teams, they've really pushed and tested us," she said.
"We've just got to pull it back together and play our football like we were at the start of the season."

Quinlivan is hopeful of a return before finals.
"I've got a partial tear in the MCL, the physio reckons a few more weeks out, maybe four," she said.
"It's coming along nicely and I can start running now, which is great.
"It was before Queen's Birthday weekend, so it's been about eight weeks."
