Police and paramedics were called to the scene about 10.30am where a member of the public was performing CPR.
A NSW ambulance spokesman said three ambulance crews were called to Young Street after they received reports an elderly woman fell out of a wheelchair near Albury Station.

He said paramedics performed CPR on the woman.
The woman, who had various medical conditions, was unable to be revived.
An eyewitness said police tape had been set up at the scene and a sheet placed over the back of a taxi.
