Maggs took the field with Magpies' division one men at Albury Hockey Centre on Sunday, pushing out the centre hit against Wombats, before returning to the sideline to cheer his team on.
He was supported by his teammates and two children, Sam and Leo.
Magpies went onto win 6-3, with Maggs' brother, Jeremy, scoring five goals.
