After going into recess last season, the Roos will join forces with their neighbours on the back of a strong allegiance through the football clubs.
The club will be called the Brocklesby-Burrumbuttock Saints Cricket Club.
It will retain the Swan and Kangaroo emblems.
Burrumbuttock's David Williams will be the inaugural club president with long-time Brocklesby cricketer Garry Drew taking on the chairman's role.
"We had a few meetings and going forward decided it was in the best interests of both clubs to come together," Williams said.
"There are already strong ties through the football club and a number of Brock boys played cricket for us this season.
"A big part of the merger is the juniors.
"We will be trying to get an under-12 side which we believe is crucial to our future."
The club plans to field first and second grade sides in CAW Hume next season with competition chairman Michael Erdeljac supportive of the merger.
"It's fantastic for the competition," Erdeljac said.
"We will be working with the club in regards to the draw and things like that.
"The merger will give more people an opportunity to play cricket particularly in the juniors."
