That came with Nathan Patrick Sullivan's guilty plea in Albury Local Court on Monday to three sets of charges.
That included a matter where he resisted police after hiding near the back shed of a South Albury house.
Defence lawyer Jaimee Simonsen entered guilty pleas on Monday afternoon for Strauss, who appeared via a video link to Junee jail, on a long list of charges.
But Ms Simonsen said pleas would not be entered on three charges, including break, enter and steal, as negotiations with police were continuing.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Magistrate Rodney Brender ordered a sentence assessment report on Sullivan, 28, and adjourned his case to September 6.
Strauss's matters will be listed for mention again on August 5.
The first set of charges against Sullivan of police pursuit, reckless driving and driver never unlicensed related to matters on July 6.
A complaint was made to police about 9.15am about a blue and silver Holden Commodore, with no back number plate, at first thought to be driven by Kennedy.
About 10am, police were carrying out inquiries about a possible stolen car, the Commodore, in the driveway of a block of units in Thurgoona Street.
Fifteen minutes later, the car - driven by Sullivan - headed down the driveway and stopped within three metres of the police vehicle
The officers then saw Sullivan "fumble" with the gear shifter as he quickly put the car in reverse.
Police followed as Sullivan accelerated away at speed, with officers pursuing the Commodore down Stanley, Creek and Englehardt streets.
Sullivan overtook several cars and, when he went the wrong way around a roundabout, police stopped the 1.2 kilometre pursuit.
A second pursuit through central Albury happened about 7.40pm, with the brief stop outside the Albury railway station where Sullivan got out of the car, pulled out the knife and pointed it in a threatening manner towards police.
Sullivan resisted police when he was arrested at the Ebden Street, South Albury, house, where he was seen to be continually "fiddling with the front of his pants".
