A Victorian woman who left her front door open so two men could sneak in and bash her housemate, who was later found dead, is unlikely to spend more time in prison.

Olivia McOrmond, 47, left her apartment unlocked in October 2017, allowing the duo to enter and give Jade Goodwin a "flogging" during what turned out to be a "protracted assault".
The bashers were later held responsible for the manslaughter of Mr Goodwin, 39, later found in a shallow grave in the Mornington Peninsula town of Tyabb.
McOrmond allegedly used linen to help dispose of Mr Goodwin's body and cleaned up broken glass following the assault.
She spent 84 days in custody before being released on bail in October last year, when her charges of murder and false imprisonment were dropped.
During a pre-sentence plea hearing on Tuesday, Supreme Court Justice Christopher Beale said he considered the time McOrmond had served in custody was "enough".
But because of the seriousness of the offence and because McOrmond assisted people she believed at the time had committed a homicide, Justice Beale said he was minded to impose a community corrections order.
He said the order would include a significant number of unpaid community work hours and potential treatment for drug addiction.
Lawyer Dermot Dann QC said McOrmond was remorseful, had told police she "should never have opened that door" and was in turmoil.
"I really didn't know that was going to happen," she said in her police interview.
"There's still part of me that knows he's someone's son, he's someone's dad, he shouldn't be dead.
"I mean, I did a lot of mistakes and I know I'm going to jail for that."
Mr Dann described McOrmond as a "damaged person".
She was initially charged with murder alongside Brendan McDowall, Shane Heiberg and Natalie Dalton.
But McOrmond later confessed to one charge of assisting an offender after McDowall was found guilty of manslaughter and accomplice Heiberg pleaded guilty to the same charge.
The bashing came about after Dalton, 38, made an unfounded claim Mr Goodwin had raped a woman and that McOrmond felt like a hostage in her own home and wanted him evicted.
Dalton was last week jailed for at least one year and eight months after pleading guilty to intentionally causing serious injury.
McDowall and Heiberg are due to be sentenced on September 9, while McOrmond will return to court on September 3 for further plea and sentence.
