Opening in Townsend Street in January, Nannini's team of nine in the kitchen and eight on the floor go to great lengths to offer the full Italian experience.
Italian-born chef Domenica Tignino moved to the Border from Sicily a month ago to take up a new post with the restaurant.
Together with his wife and their son, Mario, 3, Tignino settled in Albury, where other family members already live.
"I wanted to better my life in Australia and explore my culinary skills," he said.
Tignino's passion is authentic Italian-style pizza; from the original Margherita to the Ortolana with grilled, seasonal vegetables, olives, rocket and toasted hazelnuts.
