Murray missed the Saints 19 point victory over the Wodonga Raiders on the weekend with an abductor strain.
With the league having a split round, Murray is expected to be fit for the Saints home clash against Lavington on August 17.
Lachie Dale is also facing a race against time to be fit to take on the Magpies.
Dale hobbled off in the last quarter against the Raiders with an ankle complaint.

The clever goalsneak leads the league's goalkicking on 46 but was kept goalless for only the second time this season on the weekend.
The Saints need one more win against Wangaratta, Lavington or Albury in the final three rounds to secure the double chance.
Rookie coach, Jake Sharp, said the Saints would be taking a cautious approach in the countdown to finals.
"Brad will miss this week and I expect him to be back for the Lavington clash after the bye," Sharp said.
"Lachie will have his ankle assessed tonight (Monday) and while it's only early, I'm guessing he is a 50/50 chance of playing this week."
Sharp said Frazer Dale had aborted plans of making a late season comeback.
The former AFL player had been training but suffered a calf injury which dashed any chance of a return.
Sharp was hopeful Frazer could play next season.
Essendon VFL player Kurt Aylett is still sidelined with a calf complaint.
