A pre-approved "Dorothy Dixer" question was put to the Environment Minister in Parliament question time on Tuesday, allowing her to talk about the government's $100 million environment restoration fund.
While she did not mention any specific benefit for her Farrer electorate, Ms Ley said the fund was for major conservation projects to protect threatened species and habitats, increase recycling and reduce waste, and protect coasts and oceans.
