Feedback from staff right across the supply chain indicated that they were highly interested in visiting a completed grain storage facility to view what the "finished product" looked like.
General manager Dean Glanvill said: "Our staff work extremely hard every day within their own departments but the opportunity for most of them to fully understand how their contribution fits in to the big picture is limited by virtue of the fact that they are based at our facilities day-in day-out.
"The site visit allowed them to hear from the owner as to how our products operate and the benefits that they provide to their operations."
More than 40 staff from the sales, estimating, design and engineering, project management, production, maintenance, dispatch, finance and administration teams attended the site, and enjoyed a sausage sizzle, while taking the time to walk around the site and climb to the top of the silos and elevator tower.
"We also had our project manager provide an overview to those in attendance as to the process that is followed in putting together one of our projects from conception right through to commissioning," he said.
