Corowa coach Marc Almond said it was the first time he had seen it in his long career.
"We were out on the ground first and were warming up at one end and they felt they wanted to warm up at that end and they tried to engage that end and basically one of our leaders told them to go up the other end," he said.
We were out on the ground first and were warming up ... they felt they wanted to warm up at that end.

"There was a scuffle, but it was played pretty well after that."
IN OTHER NEWS:
Almond says the club certainly won't look to take it any further.
And Raiders' mentor Jarrod Hodgkin agreed.
"Look, there was nothing in it, there was just a bit of push and shove and that was it," he said.
"The umpires quickly came in and told both teams to finish it up and the game was played in the right spirit after that."
The Roos were warming up in front of Raiders' sports club complex.
"It wasn't deliberate, our warm up was under way and they tried to warm up at the same end," Almond said.
All O and M senior matches are taped, but given the incident happened before the game, there's every chance it hasn't been captured.
The Roos are certainly under the impression there were no reports from the umpires.
O and M general manager Sean Barrett didn't witness the incident.
"My only comment is that any incidents raised by the umpires or clubs will be dealt with appropriately by the league," he said when quizzed on any potential action by the league.
Raiders won the game by 48 points.
Elsewhere, star Wangaratta forward Michael Newton has been cleared of any fractures after he was forced off in the second quarter against Myrtleford with a sternum injury.
"There's a bit of inflammation and swelling and a bit of a lump in the sternum," coach Luke Morgan said on Sunday night, adding it's too early to tell if the Doug Strang medallist will miss any football.
