From about the age of six, Bronwyn taught herself to bake cakes using packet mixes.
"I played sport on Saturdays and made cakes on Sundays," she said.
"I always had a sweet tooth from day dot.
"I liked to make those marshmallow ice cream cones and toffees for school fetes."
Known as Queen Bee in the Public House kitchen in Albury, Bronwyn creates the delicious array of desserts on offer.
Highlights include deep-fried ice cream with salted caramel sauce and Baileys truffles.
"It's a bit like a Golden Gaytime," Bronwyn said.
Having grown up in Albury, Bronwyn did her apprenticeship at Tiffins, which operated in the Cinema Centre Building, before working at the SS&A Club for six years.
Mum to four sons aged 12 to 22, she has worked in the Public House kitchen for almost two years.
"I like the homeliness of the place and the style of comfort food," she said.
"Among our staff I like the warmth and the nurturing; it's a very respectful place to work."
