With the Blues having next weekend off after finishing in the top-two, coach Brayden Carey said it important to play with intensity.
On-baller David Low will be desperate to return from a back injury against Federal on Saturday with the former Corryong premiership player being sidelined since June 22.
"Hopefully he gets the all clear to play," Carey said.
"He's been missing for a while and needs a run."
Cudgewa will be close to full strength with Carey saying the pressure was on for spots in the second semi-final.
"Hopefully we get a full strength side in and go flat out," he said. "I'm not sure what Federal will do.
"We still have players fighting for a couple of positions."
Spearhead Ben Hall needs 16 goals to bring up his century for Cudgewa.
Federal nailed down third spot last weekend by defeating Tumbarumba and is unlikely to take risks with any players.
Bullioh travel to Tumbarumba and Border-Walwa meet Corryong.
Meanwhile, the league's best and fairest count will be held on August 17 after the first semi-final.
