The Tigers trailed at every change, but edged past the perennial finalists to post a 46-44 home win in miserable conditions.

"It's the worst day, but probably the best game that we've played," jubilant Albury coach Sarah Moore said.
"We've been in games against the top five sides that we've been playing and we just haven't played four quarters, but today (Saturday) we've finally strung four complete quarters for the first time.
"We've been two and three goals behind the top two sides the previous weeks and been exposed in the last quarter and coming out and losing by 10-goal margins, that comes down to not believing one another because we've played three-quarters.
"I said today (Saturday) third time lucky and having trust in one another and we were able to do that."
Albury fell to ladder leaders Corowa-Rutherglen and premiers Wangaratta by nine and 14 goals respectively in the previous games.
Jess Fisher-Curnow shot 33 goals against the Pigeons, while Emily Rodd nabbed 13.
Fisher-Curnow and Gabe McRae starred for the victors.
Bridget Cassar landed 24 goals for the visitors, while Indiana Frauenfelder posted 20.
Laura Irvine and Caitlyn O'Dwyer were the pick of the Pigeons.
"Their defensive pressure all over the court, they stayed steady for the whole game and they made us accountable for everything, their defensive pressure, in our attack end, was excellent," Yarrawonga coach Kaitlyn Cummins said.
The Pigeons were missing their leading scorer in Elle Brooks, due to her debutante ball.
"We're hopeful we can get some systems happening and still be a really good force come finals," Cummins said.
Albury has now joined fifth-placed Yarrawonga on 32 points, but the latter holds a percentage lead of 28.88.
It means if the Tigers are to jump above, they will need to finish a win ahead of the Pigeons.
Last season's grand finalists face fourth-placed Wodonga Raiders and Myrtleford, which has won only four games, in the final two rounds.
Yarrawonga faces two teams out of the top five in North Albury and Wangaratta Rovers.
However, North posted a shock win over Lavington in the last round, so Albury will be hoping for another upset when the Hoppers travel to Yarrawonga.
Meanwhile in the other game of the split round, Wangaratta Rovers consigned Wodonga to the wooden spoon with a 55-27 win.
The pair went into the match with one win apiece, but Morgan Byrne (31 goals) and Caitlyn Cose (24) proved dominant in attack.
Byrne was well supported by Briony Simpson.
Wodonga's Hannah Dwyer landed 18 goals for the home team, while Kellie Macdonald was the best player.
Wodonga faces Corowa-Rutherglen and Wangaratta in the final rounds.
