Pat Hourigan, who's still eligible for the thirds, kicked two goals in the 11.15 (81) to 10.4 (64) win.
"Patty Hourigan was outstanding in the front half, he's a 17-year-old kid, and he was magnificent," proud coach Daryn Cresswell said.
"He wrapped up that loose ball in our 50 and tackled hard."

The Hawks won last year's junior competition with a handful of team-mates, including sidelined ruckman Ed Dayman, in particular, making an impact in seniors.
Fellow youngster Nick Murray started superbly in the forward line, kicking three goals, while the dangerous Coen Hennessy also nabbed a double.
Apart from Hourigan, the ultra consistent Sam Carpenter was again terrific.
Nick Beattie was superb for the home team with five goals in terrible conditions.
